What
is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer, the fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months, and with
as yet no sign to remind one that its fresh young beauty will ever fade. ~Gertrude Jekyll
In
June, as many as a dozen species may burst their buds on a single day. No man can heed all of these anniversaries; no
man can ignore all of them. ~Aldo Leopold

what we can, summer will have its flies. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Rest
is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds
float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time. ~John Lubbock
Then
followed that beautiful season... Summer.... Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape Lay
as if new created in all the freshness of childhood. ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
We need focus more on Nature and what is happening to this world upon which
we live. I believe each and every human being, regardless their
circumstance, needs to respect all life. All of Nature—animals, whether
the fly, walk, crawl, or swim; the ground upon which we walk, the trees, plants, rock and water—is alive, and must not
be taken for granted. If we continue to fail to see our interconnectedness, we each have only ourselves to blame for its demise. Disrespect of Nature equals disrespect of all life. ~L.L. Abbott
In times of change, learners
inherit the Earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists. ~Eric Hoffer
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world." ~Mohandas Ghandi
"One's philosophy is not best expressed in words; it is expressed in the choices
one makes. In the long run, we shape our lives and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And, the choices
we make are ultimately our own responsibility." ~Eleanor
Roosevelt
We’re all of us a little greedy... We’re all somewhat courageous,
and we’re all considerably cowardly. We’re all imperfect, and life is simply a perpetual, unending struggle against
those imperfections. ~Sidney Poitier
Adversity is the first path to truth. ~Lord Byron
As far as inner transformation is concerned, there is nothing you can do about
it. You cannot transform yourself, and you certainly cannot transform your partner or anybody else. All you can
do is create a space for transformation to happen, for grace and love to enter, ~Eckhart Tolle
Always remember you have within you the strength, the patience,
and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. ~Harriet Tubman
"Time has been transformed, and we have changed; it has advanced
and set us in motion; it has unveiled its face, inspiring us with bewilderment and exhilaration. ~Kahlil Gibran
Few will have the greatness to bend history itself; but each of
us can work to change a small portion of events, and in the total of all those acts will be written the history of this generation.
~John F. Kennedy
The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficutly and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. ~Abraham Lincoln
